HISTORY
Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Photographic Society (SAUPS) began as a simple dream shared by a few passionate photography lover students with organizing mentality. On 4 February 2014, only 13 enthusiastic students, with the support of our encouraging teachers and some photo enthusiast people, came together to create a space where they could explore and share their love for photography. Our journey began with simple photo walks and small exhibitions, driven by a desire to explore and capture the beauty around us. Over the years, SAUPS has grown significantly, hosting numerous workshops, 1 national and a couple of intra exhibitions, and film festivals. From our first steps in 2014 to our current status, our history is a testament to the power of passion and collaboration in creating something truly special.
Present Scenario
Today, SAUPS stands as a dynamic and influential society within Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. Our membership has expanded to include 100+ general members, 56 executive members, 200+ Alumni and a supportive network of former members, 15 advisories, and 6 moderators. We continue to host a variety of events, including national and intra-university exhibitions, photowalks, workshops on photography & cinematography, course on graphic design, and film festivals. As we celebrate a decade of creativity and growth in 2024, we remain committed to nurturing talent and fostering a supportive environment for all photography enthusiasts. Join us as we continue to capture moments, tell stories, and create art.

2 short photo walks in every month and at least 1 Tour in every year that creates opportunities for our members of learning practically.
